Since the Spring '10 fashion shows last fall, there has been tons of buzz about the presence of temporary tattoos that rocked the runways. CHANEL's temp tats, in particular, were noted for their pretty whimsical designs and their placements. Rumors floated that they will be putting these tats on the market...and they are! Who would've ever thought we could revisit a favorite childhood passtime with CHANEL?!
These designs were created by Chanel's global creative director, Peter Philips, for the Paris runway show, and starting mid-Feb they will be going on the market as Les Trompe L'Oeil de CHANEL Temporary Skin Art. These tats will be selling on chanel.com, priced at $75 for 55 tat designs! A tad bit more costly than those 25cent bubble machine ones, sure, but hello, they're CHANEL!
I don't know about you, but they had me at CHANEL temporary tattoos. I'll be sharing this treasure with some equally Chanel-fanatical friends of mine, so it's more economically friendly as well!
